Descrição / Relato
The workshop aims at discussing the challenges and chances of structural change that regions and countries face during the process of an energy transformation towards low-carbon and sustainable pathways, whose economies are largely based on fossil fuels. Additionally it will also focus on how to shape a just global energy transition and on the potential of renewable energies. The workshop has to be seen within the context of a joint project by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and Bread for the World that aims at conducting basic knowledge, implementation potentials and interim balances of a “Just Energy Transition” in developing and emerging countries.
